Dickenson County, Virginia in 1942. (Even before The Stanley Brothers
started their career.) Also I remember our church singing "Man Of
Constant Sorrow" back then. Carter Stanley did a different arrangement
on that one but he didn"t change it much from the way we sang it in
church.
