Helvetica is one of the main reasons that Blueprint is a beautiful
framework. When you use Helvetica it kind of lends its aesthetics to
your work.

If the authors of Blueprint initially had chosen a different font the
following design choices would have been influenced by it.

So therefore I would recommend that you continue the use of Helvetica,
or else the further aesthetic developments will be strange and mixed
instead of clean and consistent.

If you don't understand what I am on about, then check out the
documentary about graphic design, typefaces and Helvetica, named
"Helvetica".
