My laptop build of 0.2.4 that reproduces the corruption was cloned from master
on 10/6/2014. The latest commit it has is
e9dce5402d2d2ff78c04432fb1a14b073e4f110d. I'm new to using git, so if there
are any git commands you would like me to run in my git workspace to help track
down what change caused the corruption to disappear in master, let me know.
Otherwise, I'll assume you can figure it out by comparing the broken 0.2.3 with
the working 0.2.4-rc1 (or master).
