I had assumed RGB was a generic "open" image file format but I never actually saw it documented. digging around it looks like it's the same as the Silicon Graphics image "SGI" format so it probably is proprietary. So it's best to keep it out of BOINC then as I'm crap with licensing issues etc. If you listened to me we'd all be in Guantanamo Bay for copyright infringements etc....
