Sorry, but this isn't a sustainable model. Since only the client uses release branches *all* other components (e.g. the server!) depend on master being "usable". Therefore master should always be as stable as possible. That said, development has to happen in feature/fix branches that are merged into master *after* they're tested. In that sense the master branch ought to be considered as an integration branch, not a development branch.
