Did you go to the link? The books were for less than a $1. They cost her $0.99. Even when I'm feeling my poorest, and as a graduate student I feel that an awful lot of the time, I'd spend that much to get 6,000 books for when I'm feeling low. > There needs to be list of people that make a habit of this kind of > behavior. I don't think there does. Once that happens I think I'll stop my BC activity as I know it now. I'll share locally with people I've met through meet up and other venues but I'll stop running or participating in rings and rays and I'll probably stop trading. Yes, I know it's annoying for books to get "lost" for a while. If a book is that important to you, don't send it out. I have started one ring; yes, I'd like the book back but if it doesn't happen, it doesn't happen. For the record, the bookring is moving and has only been to two homes since I started it in January. And you know what, I'm completely okay with that because I don't want my rings to be high pressure. I've been on enough of those.
