When viruses send themselves to new computers (please note that people usually do not send them, viruses send themselves with a few exceptions), they tend to disguise themselves. They might pick out an address at random from the infected computer's and send an e-mail pretending to be from them. In other words, if I had a virus, it would probably search through my address book and decide to pretend to be my mom. So it would send a message (with an attached virus) to people in my address book, but the people who got it would think that my mom sent it even though it came from my computer. And even if it did come to my computer, I didn't send it myself.
Still, if you have both these people on your list, run a virus scan on your computer to make sure yours isn't infected. Actually, it's a good idea to run a virus scan anyway. I really do appreciate the fact that you did not use my name, thank you, but I need to clear this up... I ABSOLUTELY DID NOT SEND THAT E-MAIL!!! First of all, I wasn't even on my computer yesterday, I worked a 14 hour day, came home and went to bed. When I just read what happened I was blown away! I have no idea how that happened but be certain that it wasn't from me, my computer has up to the minute virus protection, etc...perhaps someone or something is messing with our group. I just find it strange that Freya would get a weird message sent to her the same week as Sheila. [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] ------------------------ Yahoo!
