Are you sending via media mail? I?ve received notices from several
bookcrosser?s and trader?s that my packages to them had been ?inspected? and
had notes saying so. I can understand the need to stop people from abusing
media mail but I do wonder why a thin book wrapped in brown paper (which
just from feel is obviously a book) is suspect to inspection? This bugged
me so much I started paying the extra $ for first class. I don?t have
anything to hide but I seriously dislike the idea of someone tearing open
the very well taped wrapper to peek inside. ~ LaurieS ~

* YES! Had a bookring book disappear recently out of a
package from one participant to another. Also had
packages I sent from Houston to Chicago opened,
retaped, the address label pasted over and then sent
back to me without the BCer ever receiving it.
