OK, wasn't what I was looking for but the Announce Spotty 4.5 thread discusses some specific volume change issues, not sure it is relevant - Michael released 4.6 with a fix. I'm sure there's something out there in these forums where Michaels response to a volume issue is to declare he thinks he's broken something, and then another thread where he's puzzled at a re-occurence of a problem, saying "I thought we fixed this in ver n.n" but annoyingly I cannot find either. The former of these I'm fairly sure was spotty... but sometimes the memory is not so good. Your log file example if I'm reading it correctly (and It's more likely I'm not) seem to show a spottyconnect command for player Boom to change mixer volume to 91, which is why I thought of the Michael H posts I can't find iPeng has been implicated previously as possible cause of volume changes but didn't find any thing that proved that or any fixes offered. Group players has also been discussed at times around volume decreasing to zero. There seems to be a few of these volume change issues of various types out there, but as far as I can tell most have not been positively identified and fixed... there's a lot of info in these forums but it can be difficult to find just what you need. I've been concentrating on Zombie's volume at 100% after QLMS restart because for him its a solid repeatable occurrence, I'm not sure I can help on any of the transient whilst playing volume changes, those with more understanding and skills would be better placed to help.
