Hi all,
Are you looking in the connectivity menu? I don't understand this at
all Brenda, really I don't. Why is she using a serial cable to try to
log onto the Internet? You must know that she's got to log onto her
ISP before anything will happen at all, anything! The BN can't
connect to Bookshare or anywhere else unless it is first connected to
her ISP, her Internet Service Provider. You can't do that by
connecting the BN to the computer with a serial cable as if you were
using the BN as a dumb terminal, what on God's green earth are you
thinking?
I don't understand what you mean about not being able to get into the
connectivity menu. It's in the options menu, and is very simple and
straight forward to operate. If she's using Earthlink, there may be
some trouble there. I have heard that some people do have trouble
setting up their BN's for Earthlink. But if you can't even find the
connectivity menu...
