It sounds to me like you may need a new wireless card. Are you having any trouble accessing data stored on a regular CF card, if used in the same slot as the wireless card?

After that the light comes nand it will connect. This is a constant problem when power cord has been disconnected and reconnected I believe. However it also happens just in using the unit connected to ac about every 4th or 5th power up.
