Yes, there were some interesting things about the pakmate.However, their 
salesman at the convention wher I saw it was so flip and illinformed that I 
was unable to learn just what they were and weren't.  For instance I 
couldn't get a straight answer from him about whether all was lost when 
power was lost or how much had to be restored, something that   was talked 
about much and seemed to be far better with the braillevoicenote. I also 
couldn't get a straight answer from him as to the cost of a model without 
braille because I was supposed to want braille more than life itself.I'm 
afraid the salesman is reflected in the view of the product, and Humanware 
has a much better image as far as I was concerned. Given that the Creative 
Labs MuVo plays books just fine, having them play on the voicemante would 
just be a plus, not a necesity for me. And certainly not reason to by a 
product that was so offputting from the start.
