You loose everything if the power dies. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Kathy Williams" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "Braillenote List" <[email protected]> Sent: Saturday, July 23, 2005 7:32 AM Subject: Re: [Braillenote] MP3 books
Yes, there were some interesting things about the pakmate. However, their salesman at the convention wher I saw it was so flip and illinformed that I was unable to learn just what they were and weren't. For instance I couldn't get a straight answer from him about whether all was lost when power was lost or how much had to be restored, something that was talked about much and seemed to be far better with the braillevoicenote. I also couldn't get a straight answer from him as to the cost of a model without braille because I was supposed to want braille more than life itself.I'm afraid the salesman is reflected in the view of the product, and Humanware has a much better image as far as I was concerned. Given that the Creative Labs MuVo plays books just fine, having them play on the voicemante would just be a plus, not a necesity for me. And certainly not reason to by a product that was so offputting from the start. ___ To leave the BrailleNote list, send a blank message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] To view the list archives or change your preferences, visit http://list.humanware.com/mailman/listinfo/braillenote
