Paul, doesn't sound very promising. What happened when you contacted HumanWare?

Richard,

When I do a normal reset I get the initial tone when I push the button but
then nothing else happens. The VN does not boot up. I can get it to boot
with a 4-5-6 reset but it's not very convenient to have to keep setting the
time and date. In addition, I was unable to install my new GPS 3.1
software.

Subject: [Braillenote] Reset Issues

I have installed 6.11 on my VN but am no longer able to do a normal
reset
just using the reset button. I have made several calls to support but
have
been unable to resolve this issue. I'm probably going to have to send
my VN
in for repair but thought I'd check on the list to see if anyone else
had
this problem and if they were able to resolve it without sending their
unit
in for repairs.

Paul
