I tried the 4, 5, and 6 reset and that didn't make a difference. The bad part is this. I was able to get my messages earlier today and I was using a dial-up network and a really important message is in my inbox that I want to forward to myself so that I can deal with it on the computer. I can't send it to myself because I can't connect to send or receive any email. I really hate to do a service reset but I'll do that if I have to. I'm not afraid; I just don't want to lose this email.

Another strange thing is that I tried to set up another dial-up connection and I'm getting errors with that, too, but I'll deal with that tomorrow. I think I can get that one to work, but this wireless thing is something else again.

Karen,

You've probably already done this, but try a reset, probably the 4 5 6 reset and see if that helps.

I really think your actual connection configuration is fine, but rather something with your directory of accounts entry.

When I've gotten the 10022 error, a reset seems to solve it.

You might even break down and do a service reset if all else fails as it wouldn't hurt anything. But, try the others first.

I wouldn't think that port forwarding would be an issue since the pc seems to be connecting just fine.
