Richard: sounds like your machine is riddled with bugs, as I'm having none of the issues with my mPower BT. I find I shall have to do a manual recalibration (I've only had the thing a couple of months) and that concerns me, though. The gauge claims to be accurate but it went critical and died on nine percent the other day, so go figure.
Anyhow, I'd be persistent about getting your machine looked at. Those sound like unusual issues to me. good luck.
