Hi Rose,

For those who are so concerned about used parts, would they be as concerned
if in fact people got new units and abandoned their braille displays?  The
braille displays are the bulk of the cost anyway.  I feel better holding on
to a good functioning braille display than trashing it.

I can more easily come by $1995 than I can $6000 and get plenty of use out
of a perfectly good braille display.  I'd rather have this option than have
to take out a lone to have the upgraded unit.

As far as I'm concerned, all your comments are right on target.  

You're getting a brand new case and, keyboard, and motherboard.
Basically, they are taking the other components in trade in if you want to
look at it that way.  
What they do with those components is up to them just as it was with the
earlier motherboard upgrade.  

I think some people are simply trying to make a big deal and a negative one
at that out of absolutely nothing.  

Sometimes I have to really wonder about this list.
