Don:
Wile I understand there point I must agree with you and the others on
this one. However in jest only I would like to submit the following add.

For sale used BrailleNote. We are please to announce that we are making
available the brailleNotes that have been turned in for upgrades. These
are in good working condition however there is a large whole where the
display used to be. When using please keep hands out of the unit and
make sure you don't get it wet.

Although I meant that strictly in gist the fact is that anyone taking
advantage of this offer is doing so because of the cost of the display.
Your not going to put new displays in the units for reselling and so
all you would be left with would be a brailleless device that you have
no idea at all of the history maybe they played catch with it.

Have a good day life is to short to take two seriously.

Karen,

As far as I'm concerned, all your comments are right on target.

You're getting a brand new case and, keyboard, and motherboard.
Basically, they are taking the other components in trade in if you want
to look at it that way.
What they do with those components is up to them just as it was with the
earlier motherboard upgrade.

I think some people are simply trying to make a big deal and a negative
one at that out of absolutely nothing.

Sometimes I have to really wonder about this list.

There!!! I've said it!

Don
