Wow, this is an epidemic. Mien did the same thing and there was anotherl ister on here who had the same trouble. I had to send it in, it's actually still in, and they had to replace the motherboard. I can't think of anything lse you should try, so I'd send it in. I know it's a pain. Good luk.

Subject: [Braillenote] serious braille note problem

Hi everyone,

at last, this past Monday, I started my long delayed position with Verizon
Wireless. I am currently in the six week training process. I was
absolutely counting on my BN to be my rock, allowing me to take notes,
follow along with training materials in a group setting. otherwise, I have
to sit at a PC with my back to the rest of my group and the instructors.
Well, yesterday morning, I checked my BN and it was at 88 percent charged
up. however, when I got to work and went to get into my note document,
nothing happened. i couldn't even get it to reset. when I push the reset
button, absolutely nothing happens. i truly mean nothing. i tried plugging
it in again last night, but all is still the same this morning. i am afraid
this means having to send it back to Human Ware. But before I start begging
my rehab counselor to do this, is this what you all think as well? is there
any other thing I can try?

I'm already waiting for the transplant to an mPower, and i am not happy
about the idea of being without my BN twice for an extended period. if it
is sent in for repairs, would they just do the transplant then?

thanks a bunch.

Sherry
