Hi kathy, KGS cells use the same Braille cell technology, however they are a different manufacturer from that which we used previously. We have been using KGS cells in all BrailleNote products since roughly June of last year. The cells are lighter, very quiet, and in my view the feel it nicer although this is of course subjective. I know there are people on this list who have used both, and they may be able to give you a customer perspective on this. Jonathan Mosen BrailleNote Product Marketing Manager HumanWare

Does this mean there is finally a new refreshable Braille cell technology? Then my question is whether it is easier or more difficult to feel or if there is no change in that respect. Can you tell me the actual specs for the braille dots height and distance placement and shape for the two braille cells you use at present? ___ To leave the BrailleNote list, send a blank message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] To view the list archives or change your preferences, visit http://list.humanware.com/mailman/listinfo/braillenote
