Yes it definitely is as good and much zippier.

All I can say is that I'm sure it is just as good as the BrailleNote. I
dropped mine from a height of about two feet onto a carpet and the
BrailleNote is still working perfectly. Not that I intend to do this on a
regular basis, you see.

Hello everyone,
TheM power may have thinner plastic, and probably is lighter.
However with the advancements of plastics and technology, it is probably
stronger.

I'd like to hear how you come by the theory that the MPower case is
inferior. Since it is in a padded case, even if it were, what difference
would it make if the plastic were thinner?

That person is right on the money with that statement.
I would imagine they did this to make the machine lighter in weight. I am
most definitely keeping my old friend, the Braille Note 32 just because
it
is a rare day that it isn't there for me and it is of a different era but
as I am wont to say, "it woiks, folks, it woiks."

Hi,
I've just read elsewhere from an MPower user that the quality of the
plastic casing is inferior to that on the original BN's and that loss of
speech happens on a regular basis.
Before splashing out on one of these, I'd appreciate any comments from
current users, please.
