Thumbs stick out, and go into the BN via either of the USB host ports; whether this means it's vulnerable to damage I couldn't tell you though, as I'm not an expert on it. They do come in a pretty sterdy plastic cover, but I don't know how secure this actually is. I'd be interested to know that. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Peggy Kern" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>

Subject: [Braillenote] Storage on the mPower

I'm curious about this thumb drive thing people are talking about. If I decide to get one, I'm wondering if it sticks out of the mPower and could get damaged, or if it inserts all the way like a compact flash card or, I assume, an SD card.

Hello,

On the M-Power there is a slot for a Secure Digital (SD) card. The other storage devices on the Mpower include 2 USB ports, a SD slot, a Compact flash card slot, and the PCMCIA slot. So as you can see there will be tons of ways to save, record, play music on the new mpower.

Okay, what do you load a secure digital card into if it's that small? Do
you have an adaptor that fits like the BN QT or will fit the M-power? This
really sounds interesting.
