Hello!
If you have Openbook in your PC, change that word document to .rtf. The BN
can deal with it then. There are some versions of Microsoft Word that the
BN can't read so when this happens, you need to change to .rtf and the BN
should be able to read it. If your computer has a PCMCIA slot in it, get
an adapter which will adapter from that to the compact flash cards. You
can move files with ease without needing to worry about active sync. I
move my files from PC to M-power through my network. If none of these are
available, go active sync.

Well, that's virtually impossible seeing as how the files come from a
professor... I'm also curious to know why the mPower is behaving in this
way... It's rather frustrating that I'm not able to open these
attachments, and that I have to wait to use my PC and ActiveSync to do
so. That's one of the benefits of the mPower right? To be able to open
MSWord and or RTF file types... I mean, this isn't even letting me save
them as keyword files... GRRR

professor. When I press "enter" on the attachment, the mPower prompts
"detach or read?". This is all fine, but here's where things
get... frustrating. If I choose detach, it'll bring up a message asking
me if I wish to translate the file into a KeyWord document. When I say
yes, I receive a message saying, "the file converter found the input file
is not a valid word 6.0 95 or 97 document." This is followed by me
having to do a reset on the mPower because it freezes.
>>If I choose to read the file, I get the same message as well. Does
anyone have a clue as to what this means? I have been able to receive
some attachments from this professor before, but I just don't get it!
>>If anyone has any ideas and or suggestions, they'd be great, because
she sends me class worksheets so I can follow along in class with the
mPower, but not if I can't open the attachments!
