I agree, if you want eloquence, get a Pack Mate. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Steve Nutt" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "'Braillenote List'" <[email protected]> Sent: Thursday, July 14, 2005 11:29 PM Subject: RE: [Braillenote] eloquence for braillenote
Hi, All Humanware would need to do for that, would be to resurrect Keynote Gold for Windows XP. I wish they would do that. The software Keynote Gold was exceptional speech in its time, and I used to use it with Window-Eyes, but because of Pulsedata, as they were then, insisting on using a now ancient method of copy protecting it, you can't now use it under Windows XP. If they got rid of Everlock, and did a little development, and resurrected it for XP, you could use it for JAWS, Window-Eyes, or whatever you wanted to use it with. I would prefer them to do this, than to put Eloquence, a much inferior synth, into the Braillenote. Just my opinion. All the best -- Computer Room Services: the long cane for blind computer users. Maybe it would be possible to add the multilingual eloquence as an option for speech software on the braillenote that could run with KeySoft?
