Hello Stephen, The information given you below is correct. While many of the older PCMCIA cards require 5 volts, the BrailleNote mPower's PCMCIA slot will only deliver 3.3 volts, which is what most cards on the market today require. Therefore, if you have a compactflash card in that adapter of yours, I would suggest taking it out of the adapter and using the card in the compactflash slot.
If you are entitled to KeySoft 7.0, you should be able to download it, along with all relevant instructions from www.humanware.com/7_0 making sure that you download the KeySoft image for the BrailleNote mPower and not for the Classic or PK platforms.
