I think you should try making and using a database but, using a similar
setup, I have to say that I think I prefer the simple file method when
time and thinking about a number of issues at once are involved.

Hi Gang:

As a worship leader, I require access to a lot of songs as quickly as
possible. At the present time, I have a directory containing all of the
songs: 1 per file.  The file hs: 1.  the key in which the song is
played; 2.  the number of verses; 3.  the complete text of the song.

My question is:  would I be better off using a database or should I
stick with the file list format.
