Jonathan, unless I'm missing out on something, I have to disagree. I have a bluetooth dongle from Microsoft and using the Microsoft stack, I can't get the PK to work via bluetooth in braille terminal mode. Even Dean is unable to help. On the other hand, braille terminal works fine with belkin and its software.

Hi Rusty. Beginning with Windows XP Service Pack 2, Microsoft now has its
own Bluetooth stack. Some Bluetooth dongles support it, others do not. My
suggestion is that you make sure you purchase a Bluetooth dongle that does
not require its own software, but instead can work with the built-in
Bluetooth stack, that's assuming you are running Windows XP SP2. For the
most part, it's quite accessible.

[Braillenote] Bluetooth dongles and accessability

Hi folks,
I'm about to get a bluetooth dongle for my computer.

What I'm discovering is that some come with some sort of software that
gives
you a graphical interface for controling the bluetooth connections.

Does any one have any experience with these devices and the software to
run
them?

Are there drivers in windows xp to run bluetooth without having to use the
bundled graphical software for bluetooth devices?

Thanks!
Rusty
