Hi KC, Before I go any further with this, I want to sincerely apologize for implying that you were at fault or doing anything incorrectly. This was never my intension. Furthermore, I never meant to imply that you, as a deaf-blind Braille-only user, were the one with the problem. This seems to all be happening to an unlucky group of mPower users.
I didn't see this message until after I sent an earlier one about trying the download process again. I have never seen the results you got on the BookShare page, regarding the size of the book. I'll go download another handful of books and see if it crops up on my end. BTW, I've been doing most of my downloading, (and other BN things), with the speech turned off. I'll keep this up and see if I come across anything related to book size. I have noticed that the files that fail to download are always smaller than BookShare or the IF Archive says they should be, so this is why I have stated that BookShare files can't be unpacked because of the downloading stopping prematurely. I'm considering not posting anymore of my findings on-list, because I seem to be muddying the already murky waters, and being offensive in the process. This download issue is effecting a larger number of people than I at first realized, so I'll try to do my part in keeping list traffic down to a dull roar. [Smile] Keep posting with your findings.
