Hello Martha,
The other item that will be helpful in the future when you ask
for assistance. Is what type of keyboard you are using so that
people can give you the proper functions.
If you would like further assistance, and aren't sure what to
ask, you can always e-mail me off list and I will be glad to
help.
Robert

right you are. I looked where you said and it's 7. I saw some
other
interesting info while I was there. Thanks for your help!

Hello Martha,
If you turn on the unit, it should say main menu, if you are
using a braille keyboard, (bt) then press space with i and you
will find the version of keysoft you are running.
If you are using a qwerty keyboard (qt) then when you turn on the
unit, press read with i and it will tell you what version of
keysoft you are running.
For those who say if you have a mpower you should have version 7
I have a friend who just transpanted a few weeks ago, and he
specifically told humanware, wrote a letter and sent it with his
unit, and even paid for the cost of ks 7 and it still came back
to him with ks 6.1.1.
So, never assume.
Robert

Sorry! I do well to do what I'm doing well let alone give
detailed info
that I'm not sure how to find. I'm sure I'll learn in time.

If you got an mpower you should already have ks 7 on it.
You really didn't tell us what version of keysoft you are running
so I
have
to assume you are running ks 7.

Hi Martha:

Try doing it again. Hold down reset with dots 4,6. Then do a
1,2
with no
reset, then dots 4,5 with a reset.

I e-mailed support, but maybe while I'm waiting for them (since
they may
be busy) I'll ask if someone on the list can help. I'm
desperate!

I got my BN-m-power yesterday and have enjoyed it but I'm afraid
I've
broken it.

As recommended, I wanted to upgrade the Keysoft via the flash
card.

I plugged the BN into the AC, (not air conditioner)! turned it
on,
display and speech were all ready. Put the flash card in (I
think I did
it right) the BN said the flash card had been received, I pressed
the
reset button plus dots 4 and 5, the machine beeped, then went
dead. I
can't get it to respond, and the instructions said I'd hear
sounds that
it was loading right.

I hope I didn't break it.
