Hi Mary Ellen and All,

Well, grin, don't feel bad about not knowing how to use the BN and cell
phone. For, to get mine to work at all, I spent many hours trying and
several calls to Cingular tech support. But, even though I can get my phone
to work with the BN now, I'm certainly not able to do it the simple way
Sarah does, at least not to be able to use the GPRS. For, every time I want
to use my
phone that way with the BN, I have to go into the GPRS settings on the phone
and tell it
which access point to use. Maybe it has something to do with the
configuration set up by Cingular, as well as the particular type of data
plan purchased, I don't know. For, with the settings I
have, I can get my PAC Mate to connect every time without having to enter
that access point info into the phone, as the PAC Mate will accept the
initialization string I'm entering. Then, too, with either the PM or BN,
although
I don't know that Cingular is offering this anymore, I can use the much
slower connection that just takes my air time minutes without having to go
into the phone and entering the access point info.
