Hey Joseph,
I took your suggestion and turned off my phone. It's still no go. First let
me say, I'm running windows xp professional service pack 2. I've installed
active sync 3.8 now when I open active sync and look under file in the
connectivity manager, I have checked serial and infrared. When I try to open
the dialog box, to put in a serial port number, nothing happens. I arrowed
around with my mouse keys and hear a reference to comport 3. then just below
that I hear status and no comport.
So then I tried going to control panel and adding the braillenote in
bluetooth which the computer did permit me to do. I tried it with a passkey
I made up, but since the braillenote did not see the computer the
braillenote did not offer me an opportunity to put in a passkey. So I tried
it without a passkey, and while the add bluetooth device was completed
successfully acfcording to my computer, the two still do not talked to one
another. I get the same information in active sync as I did before.
So I do not know what to do next.
