Vickie,
I am synked to the computer, and I can even surf the net with it
also. Could I still need to change to the widcomm drivers? I tried to
switch earlier this last week and encountered the license issue. I reverted
back to the time before I had messed with bluetooth and just let the win
drivers install and that is what I am currently using.

Hi again Scott,
In rereading your last message, I'm thinking that maybe you already have the
HW drivers; and, if memory serves, it just installed them and didn't ask for
the com port.
Were you on the list/reading the messages when we were talking about the
possibility of the Microsoft drivers being installed? Now, I don't know
which Bluetooth adapter you have; however, in case you didn't see this, here
is a link to an article that helped at least some of us when our Belkin
adapters weren't working correctly. When this page opens up, search for the
word license to get to the appropriate article:

Vickie,
I have jfw 7.0 I just let the driver install its self in
c:\programfiles\fredomscientific\jaws\7.0. I do not actually know the
driver file name. Do you? Is this where it should be installed? If not
where? Thank you.

Well, I don't yet know if we have two problems or one. But, guess we can
start with the Jaws. What version of Jaws do you have? And, did you
install the drivers from the Humanware site? I'm thinking that, when I
installed the beta 7.10, it let me add the synthesizer, but then the correct
drivers somehow didn't get in the right place, so I copied the ones from
Jaws 7.0 to the 7.10 version.

Vickie,
I think that I am having a problem with my jaws driver. I do
exactly as you do I go into the remote synth on the pk, and then choose
Bluetooth. The Pk says ready. I do not hear the computer name though. I
also do not hear any thing after I hit k in the jaws menu. However when I
shut down jaws I get a message telling me that it could not find the keynote
driver. The installation to the driver was a no brainer. I have only one
version of jaws on my computer. This is the one that I chose. I could not
select a comm. Port or anything. Correct? Thank you for your patients.
Happy Easter
Scott
