This is Jospeh. I have Western Digital Passport hard drive. Essentially,
this is a laptop hard drive. You don't need a charger/adapter. It connects
to the USB port. mPower should recognize it as hard disk.

The drive is not rechargeable. The adapter is designed so that the device
can be operated without drawing power from the USB port.
However, this would eliminate portability, which is what I would want were I
using it with a Braillenote.

Subject: [Braillenote] Western digital hard drive

Hi all,
I'm planning to order the Western digital hard drive in a few weeks. When I
talked do customer service, they recommended that I may want to get the
adaptor that goes with the drive. How many of you have orderdd the adaptor?
Do you have to charge the drive on a regular basis?
Thanks,
Stacey and Amigo
