well, KeySync is a different thing - that allows you to sync contacts and planner - you don't need it to transfer files. The latest version of KeySync, which is needed for KeySoft 7, is on the website.
if activeSync is running and says it's connected, you should be able to treat the BrailleNote in the same way as any other storage device.
