This is Jospeh. There are some underlying issues between 1 GB card and a 512
MB card. The notable reason is the cluster size. Whereas 1 GB card uses 16K
cluster, 512 MB card uses 8K cluster (cofrect me if I'm wrong).

Your information isn't exactly accurate.  Your Sd card can be anywhere from
a 128 to a 512.
