Subject: [Braillenote] Suggestions needed
Hello list.
I know I could figure this out on my own, but I'm looking for strategies to
help me make the transition from my old Braille Lite to the BN.
I used to use my BLT to keep up with my banking. I didn't do anything all
that fancy. I just kept a special file called Bank where I wrote the
amounts I paid out or depositedand then I added or subtracted from a memory,
usually A. If I thought that maybe I had a mistake, I would use another
memory to try and find the mistake. This fairly low-tech method worked
pretty well for me except when I had a severe crash or cold boot, or when I
just forgot to enter something.
Does anybody have a nice, fairly easy strategy for banking that doesn't take
a degree in computer science? Not sure which feature to use, Keyword, the
database, or what. I probably need to keep it fairly simple or I'll just
quit doing it.
Thanks in advance.
Unapologetically lazy.
