All is well! I used a card which I installed 7.0 upgrade on. My half gigabyte card worked fine! I'll save the files on that card elsewhere and reformat it so I can use it for the next upgrade! I'll discuss things in more detail later!

Hi Jim, I suspect that what has happened in this case is that you
received a
card that was, in fact, not prepared correctly. HumanWare did
send a bunch
of these out and we apologise for this. When the unit goes dead
like that,
it suggests that the SD card is formatted with FAT 32, not FAT 16
as is
necessary. We did post a message about this when we discovered
the error a
few months back, but if you had already installed, it may not
have been
important to you at the time. So if you run the Prepare SD card
for upgrade
utility on this card, you should find it works just fine. Hope
this helps.
