Hello Isaih,
I would say that the M-power is doing what it is suppose to do but your
printer isn't following through! This isn't all together bad news. Based
on what you said, there is hope, at least, the M-power is recognizing your
printer and that is a very large step in the right direction. It sounds to
me as if your printer now needs to obey the command and print your document.
Check your interface cable if you are using one to see if all is well there.
Make certain it is plugged in properly. If your printer has a Bluetooth or
infrared option, try those and see if they will work.
I couldn't get the Braille embosser to recognize my M-power or actually, it
was the other way around. I got an infrared adapter and things took off!
May consider getting the Bluetake Bluetooth adapter. Perhaps if you mention
which printer you have, someone on the list might have an idea on how to
flip a few dip switches, load a driver or make other settings on the printer
which could make it work with the M-power. This certainly isn't a
definitive answer but hopefully it could take you in the right direction.

Subject: [Braillenote] please help; printer issue still unresolved
Hello my fellow listers! As was indicated in the subject line, I'm still
having problems getting my Epson c86 printer and the m power to recognize
each other. I'm not sure if this is do in part to some sort of prior life
experience the two of them may have had, but I sure could use some advice
on how to go about resolving their incompatibility issues.
hahahahahahaha!!! No but seriously, I have revisited this issue several
times now, and still it remains to be a problem. What is happening is
that every time I connect the printer to the voicenote and attempt to
print anything, I'll get the message that says that the document has been
printed, but no printed document is ever produced. This particular
printer is on the recommended list of printers that work with the m power,
and I'm having a hard time figuring out why there's such an issue with
getting it to work with the m power, when I didn't have these problems
while using the same printer with my voicenote classic. Tech support
recommended that I delete my keysoft ksd file and do a reset, but this too
has failed to yield any favorable results. Therefore, I am once again
bringing this issue to the attention to those of you on the list that may
be able to help me resolve this problem once and for all. As many of you
already know, I am totally in love with my m power, and I'd like very much
to be able to use it with the printer I already have if possible. To that
end, I ask that if any body out here knows of something else that I might
try in order to rectify this situation, that you please reply to this post
with your suggestions. I apologize if this message was a little verbose,
but I really would like to get this taken care of once and for all.
Thanks as always; Isaih
