Jenny,
I personally have a BrailleNote mPower BT with 18 cell display. If you need
to read something quickly, 18 is preferable. If you are going to read for
pleasure or proofreading, then I would recommend 32. An advantage that 18
cell users have is that if you want it, you can upgrade from an 18 cell to
32 cell unit with the fraction of a cost of buying a new unit. Personally,
18 is fine for me.

Hi Listers

I'm thinking about buying a Braillenote QT 18 cell or 32 celll, next year. I
don't want to read books in braille. But I do want to use it to proofread
documents, such as minutes etc. I also want to use it for public speaking.
Just to look at my notes, not read a whole presentation.

So what I want to know is, how those of you who have braille displays,
manage with either an 18 cell or a 32 cell.

Thank you in anticipation.

Jenny
