Hello List: I'm trying to upgrade my mPower from KS 7.0 to 7.1.
I installed the 7.0 upgrade from the online site, and then later received the software on an SD card because I was entitled to the upgrade. I successfully have been using 7.0, but felt I should upgrade to 7.1. So, I inserted the SD card into my PC which contained the KS 7.0 files, and just downloaded the 7.1 file onto the card from the website. Everything went well until I started to upgrade. I hit dots 4 and 6 with the reset button, that part seemed ok. Then the instructions said something about holding down dots 1 and 2, but that didn't seem to work. So, I tried hitting the dots 4 5 with the reset, and that didn't seem to produce any results. I actually had to do a service reset, because the unit froze with the message "update bootloader" on the braille display. I really would like to upgrade to 7.1 however, it is not urgent, but if I can do it then I will. Has anyone else experienced trouble upgrading? And, what am I doing wrong or not doing...any ideas?
