Kathy and list,

Humanware doesn't have much control over a manufacturer discontinuing a particular card. One wonders whether the flash network card will be replaced by a USB option or perhaps an SD card option? I really don't know! I'm certain some manufacturers are looking for a more reliable network connection device even if a chip must go inside the device itself. We'll need to see what happens down the road. As for the disk drive, the USB drive has proven to be a much better option than the traveler disk drive so we'll need to see what is down the road.

Jim

Hi, Isaih,
I can't clarify the network card situation for you, but I wanted to put in my two cents worth. When HW makes it possible to support other network cards, I strongly urge them to continue support in their software for the Sandisk and Ambicom cards that currently work. Seems like when new software comes out, things that have previously worked in earlier versions no longer work. Printers and cell phones are two examples. So HW, please do not stop supporting the Ambicom and Sandisk cards which usually work now.
TIA!
Kathy
