Hi Jonathan;
I think KC and other deaf blind users are looking for a text version of
the tutorial. A lot can be learned from the tutorial and they need
access to it too, even though it is in written format. An audio
tutorial is the best for learning, but since they can not use it, you
need to give them the equivalent. You could put it on your site and all
could use it.

Hi KC, it is completely unrealistic to expect us to stop producing audio

material because Deaf Blind people can't access it. What it is realistic

to expect is that we will make the same information available by other
means that are accessible to Deaf Blind people, and this is already
happening. So I'm at a loss to understand what precisely the problem is.

We have no way of knowing when we ship a product that is all boxed up,
whether the customer receiving it is Deaf Blind or not. So if the audio
material isn't useful, it can be ignored. All the same information is in

the User Guide on board the unit.

Hi Jonathan,

I don't mean to be difficult. However, I'm on a several
Listserves with folks who are deaf-blind. More than a few are Bn
users. Perhapsyou should be aware there is a general sense of
dismay at the fact HW offers a tutorial on CD rom that is
audio only. I mention this, because you indicate here that you
are mindful of the needs of consumers who are deaf-blind.
KC
