You're doing fine insofar as I'm concerned. I suppose what I am attempting to do is to understand how others feel. I have been an off and on Braillenote user since July of 2000, and what I've learned about the product has always come from the users guide and the excellent help system.

I personally have no problem learning by reading manuals, but for some, that is not the best way to learn. Perhaps a text version of the tutorial that simply lays out some of the basics of Braille noting in a straight forward manner might be helpful to deaf blind individuals. It could be placed on the HumanWare web site, or on the CD that comes with the machine. In fact, it might facilitate learning for those who are not good audio learners but are overwhelmed by manuals. However, I'm on a several Listserves with folks who are deaf-blind. More than a few are Bn users. Perhapsyou should be aware there is a general sense of dismay at the fact HW offers a tutorial on CD rom that is audio only. I mention this, because you indicate here that you are mindful of the needs of consumers who are deaf-blind.
