Hi Jonathan:You are heading in the right direction. I know it seems that a lot of people are criticizing you for not doing your job right, but we want everyone to have the same opportunity to read or listen to the user guide. It's hard knowing what to do, but continue to do the good work that you are doing. Thanks for listening to us and keep doing what you do.
Sincerely,
Jolena Foster

Hi Stacey, thanks for that, however Rhonda's point is in my view a very fair one. What I have been doing is publishing the audio tutorials as soon as possible, so people can get a feel for the forthcoming release. However, this goes into far more detail than the announcements about the next release that we publish, and therefore it disadvantages people who can't hear the tutorial. The information is contained in he User Guide, but of course it's generally not ready for publication when I have been putting up the audio. That is inequitable, and some way or other, we will have to correct that for the future so that the publication of the audio tutorial is synchronised with when we can publish detailed information about how to use the new features in text form. Once we do this, then the information one has access to in text is equivalent to the information one has access to in the audio tutorial. I enjoy listening to them before upgrades come out. Whatwe mayhave to do is not publish the audio tutorial until such time asthe User'sGuide is in a position to be published. I realize, Jonathan, what you are saying -- a person can access the User's Guide to find out about a product. However, a tutorial determines whether a person can afford, or can use the upcoming upgrade. If a person hasn't upgraded yet, there is no way of accessing the Users Guide to read what is there. With an Audio Tutorial, any hearing person can access it, to decide whether or not the upgrade will work for them. My two cents, can I have change please? <smile>.___ To leave the BrailleNote list, send a blank message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] To view the list archives or change your preferences, visit http://list.humanware.com/mailman/listinfo/braillenote___ To leave the BrailleNote list, send a blank message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] To view the list archives or change your preferences, visit http://list.humanware.com/mailman/listinfo/braillenote___ To leave the BrailleNote list, send a blank message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] To view the list archives or change your preferences, visit http://list.humanware.com/mailman/listinfo/braillenote ___ To leave the BrailleNote list, send a blank message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] To view the list archives or change your preferences, visit http://list.humanware.com/mailman/listinfo/braillenote
