Hi,
Now that I think back on it, there were two things that made me
wonder if something was going on.
1. Shortly after coming back to work we get an out of the office
reply from him.
the other was Jonathan in my opinion answering questions on this
list, yet the name on the message came from Julia.
Sounds like he left Humanware in a hurry.
It may even be that the announcement of the impending release of 7.2
was sent out by Humanware with his name on it and he may not have
even written the release?
That's just a little speculation.
The fact is he's gone and you can read his blog and the FS press
release if you have any doubts.
And that's the way it goes in life and work.
Life in the Assistive Technology world will continue, Freedom
Scientific's gain is Humanware's loss.
I use products from both companies the Braille Note and JAWS and
although both products come from rival companies, I appreciate what
both companies have done for me as a blind person despite the monetary costs.

Jonathan worked for Humanware. Some people work for IBM, some people
work for Microsoft, and on and on. People! It's a job, you do it for
