I stopped using the planner alarm feature because sometimes it works as it should but many times it does not and I have had several occasions when I have taken the unit to a meeting and an alarm would not stop going off, I'd think I got it shut off only to have it return five minutes later. Since I dislike the alarm sound in the first place, and since it was so problematic, I only use it when I am traveling, as a wake up alarm, never for anything at work.
