Hi Jonathan,

That was exactly what I was wanting to do, and thank you so much for the
clear and concise way of doing it.

Unfortunately I am one of those, who will learn what I need to know about a
system, and then... as problems arise try to learn more and more about it.

I have owned a Braillenote now for five years, and well.... I am still
learning about its abilities and qwerks.

Thanks for the information. And has it really been five years, yes it has.

Sigh.

Hi Shelley,

1. I'm assuming that your question is that you have your Braille Blazer
connect to your BrailleNote QT and are able to emboss but it is embossing
contracted Braille when you want uncontracted Braille. Being a
BrailleNote QT I assume the documents you are wanting to embossing are
text documents rather than Braille documents. If this is the case then to
emboss uncontracted Braille go into the Options Menu, select the Keyboard
options and SPACE along these until you get to "Preferred grade when
braille entry is required". Set this to grade 1 and then emboss.

2. To double space text in KeyWord go to where you want the
double-spacing to start and enter the Layout List by pressing CTRL with L.
SPACE along the list until you come to "Line spacing? currently single
(unchanged)". Change this to double, exit the list, confirm your changes
and you will have double spaced text from that point in the document
onwards. You can change back to single spacing again at any point using
the procedure. Note that the change takes effect from the beginning of
the paragraph in which you change the layout.

Hope this helps

Best regards

Jonathan Sharp

Is there a way to.

1. Print only uncontracted braille using the Braillenote QT and a Braille
Blazer. I can't connect my embosser to my PC at the moment.

2. Is there a way to double space something created on the BRaillenote QT.

I have keysoft 6

Thanks.
