The only time I have ever seen that is when I tried to erase a directory that contained a whole lot of subdirectories. Apparently, it was too much for the BN to erase and I was terrified when that KS error message came up. It was new, and I thought my BN had just committed suicide or something. A reset took care of it, though. I have learned that there is not much that a reset will not clear up.

Speaking of windows errors on the BN, the other day, (prior to
upgrading to KS7.2), I encountered the following old friend:

"Keysoft has performed an illegal operation and will be shut
down. If the problem persists, please contact the program vendor."

I haven't seen that error since running windows 98, and never in
a million years did I expect to see it on the BN.

Hi,

Hay humanware staff, why don't you do what gw micro does and have
a thing on
the ks menu to send bug reports in.

Nice idea, but there's a catch here. GW Micro's error reporting
feature is
something that takes advantage of Windows XP's ability to notify
developers
when a program crashes. Did you ever get one of those dialogs
that says in
essence, Windows or some application (fill in the name) has
encountered a
problem? The dialog contains a Send ERROR REPORT and a DON'T SEND
button?

I don't think that's implemented in Windows CE, nor do I think
that Windows
CE would let you exit that gracefully from a program crash and
let you go
about your business. Too bad.

Even so, the idea of some bug reporting feature in Keysoft is a
good one.
