Thanks much for your response and info.  But, seeing as I also have the 
Cingular 8125 running Windows Mobile 5.0 and Mobile Speak Pocket, guess I 
have to use ActiveSync version 4 point something.  And, seeing as the 
Bluetooth sync does indeed work for me, it isn't a real big problem, but I 
just couldn't figure out why the USB and serial sync wouldn't work as well.

Anyway, thanks again for the info.

I think you need to use version 3.8 for Active Sync.  My husband reacted
right away when 4.2 was mentioned.  He seems to think that this might be
your problem.
