Don, I believe you've got it right; and no, it isn't a put down
to Bookshare at all. It also seems to depend on length.

Thought that's what you meant, but wasn't sure.
I have found that I can load the book just fine into the
bookreader, but if I exit and attempt to load the book a second
time that the MPower freezes and I
have to do a simple reset. I can then load the daisy book into
the bookreader again.
Also, I notice that some bookshare books seem to load and
navigate better than others for some reason. I don't know if
this is due to some sort of problem
in the tool used to create the daisy formatted book by bookshare
or something in the MPower bookreader software.
I just don't know how much to trust the consistency of the
bookshare daisy books since the quality of the daisy books may
depend on what scanning errors
may be in the book in the first place.
Not trying to place blame here, just not certain of where the
problems may be coming from.

Sorry, Don for not being clear. It is when I am loading the book

Hi Rhonda,
I'm not clear about something in your problems message.
You say that when downloading a daisy book that the MPower
frezes. Do you mean when you are downloading the book from the
net or do you mean
when you are loading the book into the book reader and get the
"loading book" message?

With 7.2, I have noted the following:
1. When you are reading an email or a document, either using the
down arrow key, or the dot 4 chord, and you want to go back up a
line, the speech part is actually at the top of the document.
It's like having two separate cursors.
2. Using the classic BN BT, I am still having my calculator
issue. When I put something in memory, it is fine until I reset.
When I go back in to the calculator, "0" is displayed. When I go
back in to the memory part, my number has doubled. I do not find
this using the QWERTY keyboard.
3. When I am downloading a book in Daisy, my mPower VoiceNote
freezes. There is nothing to do but reset. I've made note that
some people are getting all the way through the process, being
able to download the book. I can do that sometimes, but it is
not consistent.
Enjoy your day,
And be blessed!

Rhonda Clark
