Rhonda, I guess it is not a beast after all. I think I've got a hypothesis: if there is a folder that does not erase and gives message about network, there might be some mysterious hidden, protected folders or files that reside there. It sometimes happens sometimes, but Reset seems to get rid of it (I haven't tested this theory though; this is purel6y my opinion).
